Tammuz

Welcome to the Month of Tammuz 2026 / 5786

Dear Friends,

As we enter the month of Tammuz, I feel a deep and urgent stirring in my spirit.
This is not a quiet month in the biblical calendar. It is a month marked by trembling,
remembrance, and awakening. Historically, the sorrow of Tammuz begins on the
17th day and continues until the 9th of Av—a period in which
both Temples were destroyed and countless tragedies befell our people. These days are not
merely historical markers; they are spiritual signposts.

On the 9th of Av, we fast. We lay aside comforts. We remember. We allow the weight of history
to press upon us so that our hearts remain tender and awake. This is a season when the veil
between past and present feels thin, and the patterns of history echo loudly.

This year, those echoes feel more like alarms. The signing of the MOU between the United States
and Iran is not a small diplomatic footnote—it is a historic and
prophetic moment. The agreement initiates a 60‑day window to
resolve disputes between the parties, and it directly touches the Strait of Hormuz,
one of the most strategically volatile waterways on earth, as well as the enriched uranium
buried beneath Iranian soil. The timing of this development—falling precisely as we enter this
season of biblical mourning—should cause every watchman to stand at attention.

The three‑week period beginning on the 17th of Tammuz is called
Bein HaMetzarim—'Between the Straits.' It is a narrow place, a
constricted place, a time when calamities have historically broken through. Scripture reminds us,
'What has been done is that which will be done again' (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Patterns repeat.
Warnings return. History circles back to its appointed gates.

We are now the watchmen on the walls. This is our generation's assignment. Many are unaware of
the weight of these days, the prophetic timing, or the global tremors unfolding before our eyes.
It is our responsibility to Warn, to Pray, and to
Stand in the gap for our families, our communities, and our nation.

May we enter this season with sober minds, awakened spirits, and hearts ready to intercede.
The days ahead are significant, and Heaven is calling us to attention.
